Snowden Takes the Win at Inverness!!
A good night of racing in Sunny Florida with the #4 of Jarrett Snowden showing how to get it done.
With the #25 of Paul White sitting on the pole and the #4 of Snowden on the outside pole, we could tell it was going to be a good race.
Both being hard competitors, the #25 brought the field to the green flag. White on the inside, Snowden racing hard on the outside.
Three laps into the race, the #56 of Mark Landis suddenly appeared in 3rd place. All three cars were running very hard and they quickly caught the backmarkers.
That's when trouble began...
The #25 of White was collected by the already wounded #55 of Jordan Martin, and the #24 of Randy Glick sent White spinning.
The field was reset with the #4 of Snowden sitting in the 1st spot and the #56 of Landis in 2nd. Landis worked Snowden for a couple of laps and took over 1st place. It looked like it was Landis' night to shine. But the #4 of Snowden would have none of that.
Snowden kept digging and Landis seemed to be slowing. The #56 looked like it had broken a suspension part on the right front. Eventually the #56 spun out and pulled into the infield. This put the #4 of Snowden in 1st place with no one to challenge him.
Persistence pays off...as shown by Snowden. He'll run you hard the whole race and never give up. This young man is one tough racer.
Congratulations to Jarrett Snowden...YOU ARE THE BIG DOG!!!
